The first podcast, which focuses on overseas fees and transnational values in design education, is one of three episodes examining the future of European design. Based on programming hosted by Disegno and the British Council during Milan's Salone del Mobile in April 2017, the three podcasts focus on education, industry and policy respectively.
Are transnational fees corrosive to transnational education?
Can the European design industry survive a transition from free movement to protectionist values?
Why aren't all economies circular?
The first discussion is moderated by Disegno's editor-in-chief Oli Stratford, and features designer and MA course director at Kingston University Sebastian Bergne, ECAL director Alexis Georgacopoulos, and design writer and Eindhoven Design Academy tutor Tamar Shafrir.
This podcast was recorded live at Atelier Clerici during Salone Del Mobile in Milan on 4 April 2017.
