An Important Note on Your Privacy

Please find Disegno's Privacy Notice below, published in light of the new General Data Protection Regulations that come into force on 25 May 2018. If you would like to resubscribe to our database, please scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page and enter your email address.

If you receive Disegno newsletters and invitations to our events, it means that you have shared your contact information with us, either by signing up to our newsletter; by being a subscriber to the quarterly journal; by having met a member of our team in person and asked to be kept up-to-date with our news; or by being a client of either Disegno or our parent company Tack Press Limited. Please rest assured that we treat your data responsibly and securely. Here is an overview of the reasons for why we hold your data.

  1. Source of data — We received your details when you signed up for our newsletter, a journal subscription, registered to attend one of our events, or left your contact details with one of our team.

  2. Purpose for processing of data — As a company reporting on design via a website and a journal, and by creating events for the design world, we process your data via our private account on a mail-marketing service to pursue our legitimate business interests: for example, we keep you up-to-date with our journal releases, our website news and live events.

  3. Right to withdraw — If we process your information for reasons other than stated above, we will obtain your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by editing your preferences, and we will confirm this when we ask for your consent.

  4. The sort of information we will hold about you — We only hold the information that you have given to us. This normally includes your name and email address and also sometimes your company name, postal address and telephone number.

  5. Your data is needed — Your data is needed to enable Disegno and Tack Press Limited to continue its work of delivering and communicating well-researched, in-depth stories and events around design.

  6. Automated decision-making — We do not use automated decision-making.

  7. Data Retention Period — We will hold your data for as long as legitimately necessary given the type of data, or until you withdraw your consent for us to hold it.

  8. Recipients/categories of recipient of data — We use a third-party mail-marketing service to send out our newsletters and invites, but this is processed via our own secure and private account with that service. The only reason for doing this is to allow us to send you the newsletter and event information that you have requested.

  9. Individual rights — You have the right to request access to or erasure of your personal data at any time by emailing us on info@disegnomagazine.com.

If you have any concerns as to how your data is processed, please contact our team on that same email. To resubscribe to our database, please scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page and enter your email.

Thank you for your support and interest in Disegno.
